Medical Terminology

In today’s environment proper communication is the basis for a successful sales process. A sales representative that is well-versed on their company’s products and applications will fail their sales objective if they cannot properly communicate with their customer.

Our experience has been that many medical companies are confident that their representatives have the necessary communication skills because they have years of experience, or simply because they had some training in the past.  Sometimes words that should have a standard definition for a company, such as “proximal”, “morbidity”, “defect” (as opposed to “defective”) elicit multiple responses, most of them wrong.

Our trainers will work with your product portfolio and targeted surgical specialties to define a glossary of words that will be included in the training materials and conferences. We can prepare from basic terminology courses to advanced courses that will have your sales force, managers, and engineers talking properly and at a high level with your medical customer
